She was born in Chania and from a young age she came into contact with art, starting her training at the art workshop "Choraos" under the guidance of Yannis Markantonakis.

He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with Alessandro Troti.

He had also worked at the art workshop of the Municipality of Chania (1996-2000), at the secondary school (1997), at the "Children's Creation Centres" of the Municipality of Chania (1998), at the conservation of works of art (murals) of the 13th Byzantine Antiquities Department (summers 1994 and 1996) and at the Technical University of Crete in the Painting and Modern Technology Department (1999).

Since 2000, she has been running her own art workshop, with participations and awards in national competitions. ΣHe participated in the Board of the Municipal Gallery of Chania.(2000 to 2003). Since 2002 she has been working regularly with the choreographer and dancer Sofia Faliereou and has been working on the sets for various performances. Her works are in private collections in Greece and abroad. She has illustrated children's books.
He has participated in many group exhibitions since 1988 in Greece and abroad. He has also held four solo exhibitions, in 2000 and 2010 at the art gallery "V. Mylonogianni" in Chania and in 2019 and 2023 at the gallery "Ali" also in Chania
The "Art Workshop" of the painter Chrysavgi (Auggi) Abelikakis is located in the heart of Chania, at 120-122 Apokoronou Street, and has been operating for more than twenty years. It is an artistic space with a unique character, which offers a variety of activities and services in the field of visual arts.

The ground floor houses a gallery where the artist regularly exhibits her works, inviting visitors to discover her creative approach. In addition, the gallery is available for other visual artists who wish to present their works, promoting cultural exchange.

On the first two floors of the building, daily educational activities take place:
Lessons for children:
Creative activities for young children, aiming to cultivate imagination and art through fun activities.
Summer employment:
Full-day activities during the summer months, where children can use their free time creatively.
Preparation of HEI candidates:
During the whole year, there are preparation classes with specialised guidance.
